This work is based on the 48th 'en plein air' studiy of the tall trees of Pollok Park. Beside the mountain bike trail, resting deer and shaking swaying trees. I returned many times to this spot. Changing all the time with the crashing of the storms. As I tied my hammock up and turned the space into my stduio, I would look up and nervously enquire if that creaking sound meant a tree was about to fall.. followed by a scream of delight from the bike whizzing past.
