Originally commissioned by the Hilton, there are 4 originals paintings now hanging in the Grosvenor Hotel hotel lobby on Byres Road. The 4 designs of the Grosvenor series cover the history of the local area of the hotel.
This print captures Byres road and hotel in the years 1938-1960.
From 'Digging to Victory' , trams on Byres road and the Scotland Calling Empire exhibition, there is lots to capture a time that not many of us will remember but have built the Glasgow we stand on.
