Playful Lines: A Beginner-Friendly Drawing Class

Discover the joy of drawing in this relaxed, playful, and welcoming art class designed for beginners and experienced creatives alike! Over two and a half hours, we’ll explore the beauty of line using ink, charcoal, and a variety of paper sizes. Through dynamic, fast-paced exercises inspired by classic art school life-drawing techniques, you’ll loosen up, have fun, and embrace the freedom of imperfection.

We’ll experiment with continuous line drawings, 30-second sketches, left-handed drawing, and more—all using the figure as our inspiration. This class is all about the process: no fear, no pressure for perfection, just pure creative exploration.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a collection of expressive, unique drawings—some of which might surprise and inspire you on your creative journey. Whether it’s your first time picking up a pencil or you’re looking to reignite your artistic spark, this class is a great way to build confidence, play, and start making art without hesitation.

Please select the material requirement you would like to purchase. All paper will be provided however there is an option to bring your own tools. You will need charcoal, black or coloured ink and a long handles paint brush (preferably) 

There will be max 6 students, minimum 3.
