In this 5-week course, we’ll explore landscapes through the eyes of Samuel Peploe, Carol Rhodes, David Hockney, and Joan Eardley. Using gouache, you’ll experiment with bold outlines, abstract perspectives, vivid colour, and expressive mark-making. Each session combines a mini-lecture and demonstration with hands-on exercises, helping you develop your own vibrant, personal landscapes. Suitable for all skill levels, this course encourages curiosity, experimentation, and discovering new ways of seeing the world through paint.
